ทวีปอเมริกา ( AMERICA )

ทวีปอเมริกา ประกอบไปด้วย ทวีปอเมริกาเหนือ และทวีปอเมริกาใต้ โดยหากรวมพื้นที่ของทั้ง 2 ทวีป นี้เข้าด้วยกันแล้วจะมีพื้นที่ราว 42 ล้านตารางกิโลเมตร ซึ่งนับว่าใหญ่เป็นอันดับที่ 2 ของโลก

ทิศเหนือ… ติดกับมหาสมุทรอาร์กติก และหมู่เกาะกรีนแลนด์

ทิศใต้… ติดกับทวีปอเมริกาใต้โดยมีคลองปานามาเป็นตัวเชื่อม

ทิศตะวันออก… ติดกับมหาสมุทรแอตแลนติก อ่าวเม็กวิโก และทะเลแคริบเบียน

ทิศตะวันตก… ติดกับมหาสมุทรแปซิฟิค

พื้นที่ของทวีปอเมริกาเหนือประกอบด้วยดินแดน 3 ส่วนใหญ่ๆ ส่วนแรกคือ ส่วนที่เป็นที่ตั้งของประเทศแคนาดา ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา และประเทศเม็กซิโก
